Build Stronger Communities Around Europe's Economic Future
The Clean Transformation Community Leaders Programme supports trusted local voices to lead practical, economically grounded conversations about Europe's industrial and energy transition.

Who this is for
For Trusted Voices in Their Communities
This programme is designed for individuals who already hold trust and credibility within their communities, people whose perspectives are listened to, and who have the ability to bring people together around important questions.
We are looking for leaders who work at the intersection of economics, industry, and community life.
Why this programme exists
Bridging Economic Realities and the Energy Transition
Public conversations about climate and energy often fail to connect with everyday economic realities. The language used is frequently political, ideological, or disconnected from the concerns of working people, businesses, and communities.
At the same time, people consistently place far more trust in local, familiar voices than in distant institutions or national media. The gap between where these conversations happen and where they need to happen is significant.
The Clean Transformation Community Leaders Programme brings these two realities together - supporting credible, trusted leaders to facilitate more practical, constructive conversations within their own communities and sectors, grounded in shared economic interests and real-world impacts.

Our principles
Our Approach
Our role is to support credible voices in having more constructive, economically grounded conversations, on their own terms, within their own communities.
We focus on real-world impacts; jobs, costs, industrial competitiveness, energy security.
Economic pragmatism
We acknowledge both the challenges and the opportunities of the transition, rather than offering one-sided or overly optimistic narratives.
Honest about trade-offs
Discussions are anchored in current EU and national policy, industrial developments, and fact-based research provided by the European Climate Foundation.
Grounded in policy and data
We encourage open, respectful conversation rather than top-down messaging. Leaders engage in ways that are authentic to them and their communities.
Constructive dialogue
